Renal thromboembolism is a rare, but severe condition in non-valvular paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, that could remain underdiagnosed. Rheumatoid arthritis is a systemic autoimmune disease, with complex etiology and multiple genetic, immunologic, hormonal factors[1].
